Charlie performs a broad repertoire of music for classical guitar including works by Sor, Legnani, Villa Lobos and Bach. He started playing at ten years old at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music outside of Philadelphia. Carleton College brought him to Minnesota where he honed his skills as a student, performer, and composer appearing in solo recitals, theater and as a Lutanist for the Pro Musica renaissance ensemble. Charlie continues to find expression playing for church services, weddings, and other venues where the enduring sounds of classical guitar can embellish the occasion.
Fun fact: I also play in rock bands and have appeared in Twin Cities venues like the Fine Line, 7th St Entry and Cabooze.
